At MerchOS, we want you to be completely satisfied with your operating system. We provide straightforward cancellation and refund terms with zero dark patterns.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of MerchOS. If you purchase any paid plan (Creator, Intelligence, or All-Access) and find that the software does not meet your expectations for any reason within your first 14 days of initial purchase, we will issue a full 100% refund.

• To request a refund within your 14-day window, simply send an email to [email protected] with your license key or order receipt number.
• Refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Paddle within 3–5 business days.

2. Easy 1-Click Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time without having to call or engage with retention agents:

• Option 1 (Self-Serve via Paddle): Visit paddle.net, enter the email address used at checkout, and receive a secure one-click link to view and cancel active subscriptions immediately.
• Option 2 (Email Support): Email [email protected] with the subject “Cancel Subscription” from your billing email address, and our support team will process it within 24 hours.

3. What Happens When You Cancel?

• No Immediate Cutoff: When you cancel an active subscription, your license remains fully functional until the end of your current paid billing period (month or year).
• No Renewal Charges: No further automatic payments will be charged after cancellation.
• Your Data Remains Safe: Because MerchOS stores your catalog and metrics in a local SQLite file on your device, cancelling your subscription does not delete your local history or database files.

4. Renewal Billing Notices

Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected cadence (monthly or annual). For annual plans, renewal reminder receipts are sent prior to the renewal date. If you forgot to cancel an annual renewal and contact us within 48 hours of the charge, we will gladly reverse the renewal charge for you.
